Stephanie Cieplinski is a writer, filmmaker, and educator living in Oakland, CA. She is a staff reporter for Academy Art U News, reviewing films and covering events in the San Francisco Bay Area. She previously wrote for the tabloid Mstars News (mstarz.com), publishing articles about your favorite celebs, film and TV news. She loves beer, her cats Alice and Swayze, and stumping people on movie trivia. She received her Masters of Fine Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California (2014) with a concentration in fiction. Previously she has been published in the Culture Trip, MARY: A Journal of New Writing, and World Y.O.G.A. Life Magazine.
